Mineral red. Delicious. A Senda Vermella is Caiño and Mencía from several parcels in Rías Baixas. The vines range in age from 15-95 years and are planted on sandy and granitic soils. The grapes were harvested by hand, sorted, and foot-trod in plastic vats, with the Caiño and the Mencía separated. Native yeast fermentation began while the juice macerated with its skins for 21 days before pressing in a vertical press. Malolactic fermentation completed in used French oak barrels and stainless-steel tanks, where the wine rested until bottling. — 4 months ago
This is in an incredible spot right now. Great texture and structure. This screams for food. Killer with kimchi fried rice. — 2 years ago

Savoury but still super lively. Love the balance, leave it in the shed for a few more years though - still primary led. — 7 months ago
Vivid, juicy red and blue fruit with a note of soot-covered pine needles. Absolutely delicious. — 2 years ago

As organic as it gets … Pure fruity homemade goodness with high tannins and acidity with a long sweet smooth finish . A faint touch of sizzle. it needs to breath a bit. Serve 15/17 C … Great find. Honest wine …It does taste like guilty kisses. — 2 years ago

Fun, bright, acid bomb, gets tarter as it opens. Unfiltered, but clean-ish funk! — 16 days ago
