Single vineyard offering, 95% Tempranillo and 5% Viura, aged in American and French oak. Deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe black fruits and floral spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and plum with notes of leather, vanilla and oaky notes. Fine tannins, long finish, lively acidity ending with fruit, sweet oak and spice. Tempranillo with a touch of Garnacha. Amazing nose, sweet cherry vanilla. Then taste is complex with dark cherry and blackberry, vanilla, oak, toast, leather. Tannins stronger that I expected. It’s 2014 but tastes young. I will give it some time. — 5 years ago
