The NV Billecart-Salmon Rose Champagne is a gorgeous effort and ranks there with the best non-vintage Rose fizz at this price point. A compelling blend of Chardonnay (40%), and Pinot Noir (30%) with the remainder Pinot Meunier, this wine sat one the lees for 36 months prior to disgorgement in February 2018. The delicate and eye-catching pink hue entices alongside the bright red fruits, orange zest and earthy undertones that all collect momentum in the glass. Fresh and lively, with a silky mousse, the wine slowly unveils ripe guava, wild strawberry, peat moss and red cherry candy flavors that longer long on the palate. This outstanding Champagne is glorious now and will provide drinking enjoyment for the next decade. Drink 2019-2029- 92 — 7 days ago
A delicious extra brut champagne. Very bready, leaning in more of a baguette or croissant direction vs a brioche. The lack of residual sugar helped exemplify these notes a bit more, as well as let the acidity shine. An enjoyable bottle of champs for champagne lovers. Not sure if casual drinker would appreciate this one. — a month ago
Perfect champagne from 2008, minimal 9 years on lees. Taste RW power of the PN and the length in this wine. Drink now or hold for another 8 years. — 3 days ago
There is just no holiday weekend or weekend that the Rosé Champagne is not coming out at the D&S lounge.
Really love the deeper, richer, riper fruits of the Ruinart & gentler chalkiness as a nice switch up from my addiction to Billecart-Salmon Rosé.
Happy Eve of the 4th of July. Cheers all!🥂 🇺🇸 💥 🎇 🧨 — 17 days ago
More wonderful juice from Billecart. Just life their style. Warm and bright with enough acid to make it balanced and pleasant but plenty of warming fruit and yeast to keep one happy. Classic Billecart style continues, lovely finish although a touch sweet for my taste. Will drink more... — 18 days ago
