Well cellar tracker is wrong. This could last another year or two. Lovely dark color. Took about an hour to really open up. Lots of dark fruit and a nice subtle kick towards the end. Lots of flavor to this one, can’t quite pick out everything. Nice wine. Glad we have one more bottle. — 4 days ago
It is a dark wine, and the nose is very expressive. Blackberry, cassis, vanilla, tea and a slight brambly note are present. On the palate, savory cola and oak spice get into the act, while the tannins are firm, but not overly so. The dark fruit is there, but the savory aspect of the flavor profile definitely leads the way. Have a juicy filet with this one - they deserve each other. — 6 days ago
Smells of bright raspberry caramels.
bright fruits hit the tongue first - pomegranate fruit and seed, raspberry, both a bit unripe as it’s all highlights, and nothing dark, deep, or moody. Zippy jolly rancher green acidity to wrap it up.
A perfect Monday wine, really..

Tart red fruit nose of raspberry, cranberry, and cherry. Bright cherry, on the palate with cranberry, rhubarb, fresh blackberry, and white pepper. Medium minus tannins, medium alcohol, and high acid. A smooth, medium bodied pinot that matched grilled salmon perfectly. — 17 days ago
An old gewurz-dominant field blend, that comes across especially perfumed and seemingly with a pinch of residual sugar. Simple yet abundantly interesting, and between the sweetness and nice acid backbone, this was a great partner to spicy curries. I enjoy Bedrock’s rendition more than Carlisle’s. — 3 days ago
Smells of bright cherry, raspberry, dried strawberry and violets. Raspberry, plum and light cranberry with thyme and roses on the palate. Touch of anise, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger snap, but all pulled together by the fruit and a layer of saffron-apple. Uniquely delightful. Had with Sashimi, and wasabi to cut the fog, so held its own. #sojourncellars #russianrivervalley #russianriverpinot #rrv #sonoma #pinotnoir #pn — 7 days ago
