Smooth and pleasant red fruit. Great $15 value. — 6 months ago
Dry tasting, berry flavour. Soft tannins. Really drinkable. Great value — a year ago
Blend of 50% Touriga Nacional, 35% Touriga Franca, 10% Tinta Roriz, 4% Tinta Barroca & 1% Alicante Bouschet, aged in used French oak for 14 months, aromas of fresh dark berry flavors with herb, spice and cedar notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry and plum with licorice, cedar, espresso and spicy herbs. Fine ripe tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, cedar, spice and herb character. Nice value! — 20 days ago
Very balanced- fruit, richness, but not heavy or fruity. — 6 months ago
Interesting wine. Very sweet almost jammy sensation at first, reminding me of a Zinfandel, but it it set my palate to the point that it became more balanced with darker dryer undernotes. It was very balanced and focused. Good acidity and fine integrated tannins, so we kept drinking it and we’re actually sad when it was all gone. — 8 months ago
Solid for price — 4 months ago
Had the privilege of being the first non Quinta Do Vale Meao persons to have a try of this wine. Probably one of the best Portuguese dry reds still with lots of ageing potential. Appreciated that they combine tradition and technology. Complex and elegant despite its youth. — 6 months ago
