Senzaaiuto 2015

Deep ruby colour, medium bodied, silky smooth with lower tannin astringency, moderate acidity with notes of dark cherry and black berry. Finishes with a hint of vanilla and nutmeg. Recommend! — 3 days ago

Vignota Barbera d'Alba 2016

Absolutely fantastic Barbera D’Alba. Very aromatic, totally indicative of Alba, so much expression of land and place. Monforte. $28 at B21. Drinkable now but has huge potential for age-ability, 6-10 years in cellar. One of the best Barbera’s I’ve tasted in a long time.! — 6 days ago

Papagena Barbera d'Alba 2011

Dark red purple. Overwhelming nose with blackfruit but also some forrest and wood. Ridiculous PQR as we only payd 15 euro’s for it. No need to keep it any longer. Just enjoy! — 9 days ago

I Suôrí Barbera d'Asti 2018

Always rounder, riper and more complex than your usual Asti Barbera. Works with a lot more than just tomato-sauced dishes and pizzas; poultry, game birds, pork, stews, braises, whatever...everything’s in play. And as always, it’s a spectacular value. — 2 days ago

Tre Vigne Barbera d'Asti 2017

Serious style of Barbera D’Asti. Dark fruit, cherry, chalk, fennel, mushroom, wild berry, medium body, soft-ish tannins, good acid and raspberry preserve on the finish. Love this, will be amazing after a few years plus. — 7 days ago

Fides Barbera d'Alba 2012

Luscious wine. Just opened so will update, but first taste shows vibrant fruit, lots of red berries and notes of tobacco and coffee. Long in the mouth. Slight bite to it at opening which I expect to mellow in an hour or so. — 5 days ago

Barbera del Monferrato 2017

Very extracted but still with a good acidity to balance it out. 14.5 alcohol but not hot, just a big Barbera. Delivers for the money — 5 days ago
