Absolutely fantastic Barbera D’Alba. Very aromatic, totally indicative of Alba, so much expression of land and place. Monforte. $28 at B21. Drinkable now but has huge potential for age-ability, 6-10 years in cellar. One of the best Barbera’s I’ve tasted in a long time.! — 6 days ago

Luscious wine. Just opened so will update, but first taste shows vibrant fruit, lots of red berries and notes of tobacco and coffee. Long in the mouth. Slight bite to it at opening which I expect to mellow in an hour or so. — 5 days ago
