Crisp, some apple, citrus, and a long finish. Biancello is the local grape along the Metauro River, which flows through Fano to the Adriatic. My nonna was Fanese, so I have an affinity for this. I think it’s Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Kind of a Super Marche wine. Get some mint on the nose. In the mouth it’s round and lush. Tannins in balance with the dark fruit. Very nice. And I’m not a Super Tuscan fan. — a year ago

Azienda Agraria Guerrieri Marche IGT Sangiovese 2017: Medium-bodied. Medium acidity. Soft tannins. Intense red fruit aromas and vibrant fruit flavors of cherry, plum & blueberry.
