Wow. This is one classy amarone. Well defined notes of dry dirt, dry flowers, and dried fruit on the nose. Smooth and sweet on palate, well balanced. A stunner, a model of its type - tough to picture a better amarone. Gift from Nate.

Red cherry upfront followed by a bit of plum or raisins (in a good way).

So disappointed. Strong overly sweet overtones. None of the complexity you expect from an Amarone.

Good but not perfect. A bit unbalanced with a heavy sweet edge. Lacked a long deep penetrating finish.
