Dec 25th, 2016Love the reds from scacciadiavoli. More of an after dinner sparkler if you ask me. Rich, a little gritty and funky. Stewed raspberries.

Oct 4th, 2015Sagrantino and Aglianico sparkling rose...wow. it's certainly delicious and a nice change of pace from the razor sharp precision of champagne. Full, wide, caramelized, strawberry elements

Sep 13th, 2015Not inexpensive but really refreshing and worth the price. And how often do you see sparkling Sagrantino? My first time, for sure. Pretty pink color with nose bursting with red fruits especially strawberries and rhubarb. Fully spumante, nice acid, and delightful tannins make this perfect for charcuterie.

Dec 13th, 2020Primarily Sagrantino grapes - this Sparkling Brut Rose shows a beautiful salmon/copper color. Tight stream of bubbles. Aromas of apple, rose petals and lemon. Tart apple, lemon, slate, orange zest and hint of stone fruit follow on the pallet. Great acidity and balance. Touch of tannin. A Sparkler that is reminiscent of a French Cremant.
