Perfect oyster wine. Very dry with a hint of effervescence, nutty and earthy— not sure how else to describe it but deeelish — 8 years ago

#Amphora #Amber #pinotgris from the delightful Aurum Wines, Central Otago NZ — 10 years ago

Andrew Cullimore
Slightly deeper colour than the Aurum , more lemon yellow . Quite aromatic with more yellow fruits , apricot , touch of peach , then some basalt , stony , crushed rocks . On the palate this is agaín quite intense, high acidity , light toasty note with same yellow fruits on the nose , orange rind . Long and saline , mineral on the finish . With more time in the glass this becomes even more intensely saline and mineral. From now and over the next 5 years , maybe more . Impressive . This is the Sur Lie with a mix of 3 vintages. — 4 hours ago
