Light, old world Chardonnay. No oak flavor. — 9 years ago
Been quite some time since I’ve had a Meursault, this shows the fat fruit and intense underlying minerality I associate with fine Meursault, seems way too young to drink (and should further improve with moderate (3-5 years?) cellaring), but the impressive long finish has it singing tonight, lovely!! Served with some fresh wild grilled California sea bass. — 9 months ago
Really nice, a little subdued compared to other Montachets. — 2 years ago

Built in the 17th century, Château overlooks vineyards of Mercurey in Côte Chalonnaise. In 1934, Marquis de Jouennes, father-in-law of Bertrand Devillard and grand-father of Amaury and Aurore (present owners), produced his first bottle of red Mercurey. Soft red fruit nose with rustic spices. Cherry and raspberry, sweet herb spice, good balance. Smooth tannins, lingering ending with earthy mineral tones. — 8 years ago
Completely surprised with this NZ Sauvignon Blanc. First night having some wine in a long time. Paired with the Salmon over cedar plank with crab topping and honey glaze. I wonder what our New Zealand friends Aurore and Jonathan would think. Please send us more!!! :) — 9 years ago
Rich yet restrained, lots of structure suggest 3-5 years of cellaring is merited, long, lingering finish, I don’t drink much Red Burgundy these days, but this is very, very impressive, should go well with the grilled Alaskan halibut I’m about to grill, for which my wife has made a red sauce. — a year ago

Very dark rubi robe, nose of dark cherries and a hint of menthol, very rich and pleasant in the mouth with good volume and fruit. Shows complexity in the finish. Modern styled wine that has what it takes to please, no excess. We liked it. — 4 years ago
Amazing wine. Dry and peppery. — 6 years ago
Very nice, smooth fruity wine — 7 years ago
Probably the best rosé you can get for the $. Drinkable, with body, but still light. — 8 years ago

Vintage 2021 | blind tasted I thought Merlot, but that is only 1/3, 2/3 is Cabernet Sauvignon. Refinement and rondeur. Plums, cassis, hints of tobacco and chocolate. — 9 months ago
