Another wine I bought from Garagiste but then was shocked when it came in that it was 15.5%. So I waited to have it with a very rich Italian braised chuck roast, and hoped that the body and alcohol would cut through the richness of the food. Bingo! It was an inspired pairing. The nose is complex, with macerated plum, leather, humus, baking spice, violets. In the mouth the alcohol is prominent, but the flavors are relatively intense and not jammy. This really needs a rich braised meat dish to not seem jarringly out of balance. I’ll give it a 9.1, but with that caveat. — 2 months ago
GREAT! Mission Wines — a month ago
Superb wine with rich berries, a wonderful nose and very low tannins. Very ready to drink immediately with no more aging and no decanting needed. This pairs nicely with pasta, pork, grilled red meats and hard cheeses. Some crusty bread and good dipping oil on the side. Yum!! — 2 months ago
JDP picked it, amazing. — 19 days ago
Lovely corvina blend! Dark ruby in color and full-bodied. Blackberries, black plum, and a hint of lemon. Medium tannins that leave a pleasant aftertaste. Will absolutely seek this vintage again. — a month ago

Very outstanding trio, bit of a shame to drink them together. 2011 amarone, 2017 la turque, 2020 cepparello — 8 days ago
