I grabbed this on the recommendation of @Sharon B
I would have thought this was reisling blind, due to a wee bit of rubber on the nose. I taste peach, pear, and macaroons. It's sweet. Most reviewers use the word "crisp", but this is neither crisp nor overly acidic. It's soft, and a bit flabby. If I had a dollar for every time I heard that.
Very enjoyable! Makes me want risotto for dinner.

Forgot just how nice Orvieto is. First had this in the town of Orvieto quite a few years back. Fruity like a Alsatian Riesling yet more acidic and less sweet. Just lovely. This one a great value. — 8 years ago

Weirdly this almost has an initial nose of durum wheat pasta or maybe I’m projecting dinner. Round with ripe apricots and preserved lemons with a mild lingering mineral finish. Amazing for the price . — 6 years ago

This is the first time I've had this Rasenna wine. I am actually THOROUGHLY impressed by this wine. The nose is sweet, tropical fruit. The entry has the SLIGHTEST HINT of effervescence. Tropical fruit, rounded, rich. Acidity is actually rather low. The middle gains a little bit of kiwi and a lemon creme brulee. Finishes with vibrant tropical mango and guava, grapefruit, acidity really still in check. This one went well with grilled pork and a salad consisting of cheddar cheese, apples, nuts, shallots, cilantro and kale topped with an Italian Cilantro dressing, but it also went very well with NOTHING. I would love to try this entire lineup, and perhaps with the next round I will! Combo of 30 Trebbiano, 30 Grechetto, 20 Malvasia, 15 Verdelho, and 5 Drupeggio — 8 years ago

Blend of Trebbiano and Grechetto with some additional local varieties blended in. Light white gold color. Aromas and flavors of yellow apples/pears, lemon, white flowers, raw almonds and a touch of wet limestone. Nice touch of saline on the long and lingering finish. Lovely creamy texture. A funny choice to put on the wine list for a Mediterranean restaurant, but very nice for what it is... On the nose this is first an foremost honeyed... A very soft raspberry... On the palate, the raspberry is front and center but concentrated... Like really concentrated... Like fruit roll up concentrated... It burns a bit... No candied elements... This is the real deal.
