This wine pours up in a medium-dark ruby color, with some rosy lavender hints around the rim. The nose hit me as almost unpleasantly funky. And I like funk. There is an extremely earthy quality to the smell, almost burying the dark fruit. The mouthfeel is a bit thin, and the palate shows flavors of plum, black currant and blackberry. Notes of cola become more noticeable on the finish, putting me in mind of a Pinot Noir. It is a clean, fresh sip, with no oak to get in the way. The tannins are tame, so pairing with chicken is probably a better idea than beef. — 4 months ago
Light, easy drinking. A little sweet but not too acidic — 7 days ago
Cuvee 2020 | 60 welschriesling 40 chardonnay, 50% stainless steel, 50% barriques, 131,7 rest sugar g/l. Botrytis smell, gold colour, extremely balance. Best sold wine from Alois Kracher and that is easy to understand. Awesome P/Q ratio. Perfect with blue cheese. — 14 days ago
Perfect with raclette according to my partner 😄 — 2 months ago
The grand finale! Dad brought this. I tasted apricot and agave. Tasting notes were marmalade and barley sugar. I can’t say I could pin “barley sugar” but I am stashing that descriptor for future tastings 🤪 — 2 years ago

@Delectable this is the “Misto Mare.” A brand new field blend from Lageder comprised of 20 grapes from vineyards converting to biodynamics. Just the slightest blush in the glass. Jasmine, fuzzy peach, and stone fruit stuffed with minerals. Well textured. Insane packaging. Another QPR banger. — 7 days ago
