2016 vintage. Soft and indistinctive nose and flavors upon opening and stayed that way for the better part of two hours. Then started to gain substantial weight/heft, and spice complexities on the finish. Opened this waay too early but it lost a coin flip to the 2019 Alain Voge VV Cornas. Drinking with Mom, Dad, and Emily in France at Alain Jaume! Color is dark red garnet and ruby. Nose is very stewed red fruit. Taste is definitely juicy and alcoholic dryness with spice and leather in the background. Also very very good — 2 years ago

Nearly opaque crimson color.
Rich bouquet with tannins present.
Immediately spiced on the palate with an earthy, cocoa, herbaceous, candied, fertilized quality.

Drinking with Mom, Dad, and Emily in France at Alain Jaume! Apparently this is 100% Syrah. Color is purple red for sure. Nose is smokey with maybe some caramelized sugar? The taste is very spicy, leather and smooth. It is very good. — 2 years ago

This is just doing great. Aromatics were great on popping but they faded fast which is the only downside. It’s got great acidity and a nice long finish that sticks around. Listening to America the Beautiful :) Happy 4th! — 3 days ago
