Heavy. Full. Big. Christmas. Festive. Wow — 4 months ago
Ripe blackberry and black cherry, powerful without being heavy on the palate, tart black cherry, a little black pepper bite, and lingering gravelly tannins.

A firm structure with dark fruit. Nothing overbearing just well put together. Easily another 5 to 10 yrs of life. — 2 months ago
: "This atypical and attention grabbing 2021 Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero has the signature aroma and flavor intensity from the broodingly deep, blue and blackberry fruit for which that region is famous.
Moreover, with three months skin maceration, plus another year of aging before bottling, what differentiates this wild and energetic Tempranillo from others IS the mind bending fact that it is NOT varnished with the usual layer of oak. Zero oak aging! Imagine that …. if you can.
The balanced, medium/full body has an interesting, mouth filling tension between the high-toned, juicy acidity, modest tannins and extravagant fruit at the long satisfying finish. Worth a peek if you can find it." — 6 months ago
My ideal weeknight sparkling wine. My dad is a big Cava fan, so naturally I was raised to be the same. This wine is so reasonably priced and arguably over performs. Crisp and straightforward with notes of green apple, lemon zest, and a little pear, plus a light toasty finish. The bubbles are lively but not aggressive, making it super drinkable. Clean, dry, and refreshing. Solid everyday cava. No complaints. — 2 months ago
Full-bodied and rich with a fabulous bouquet. An outstanding wine to celebrate my birthday with an excellent prime rib. Dark fruits, dark chocolate, pomegranate, leathery, smokey, and earthy. A real treat. — 3 months ago
Much improved from the prior bottle of this vintage. There is significant fine sediment and taking more care in separating in the decant made for a world of difference. Decanted and enjoyed over 4+ hours. Was as vibrant and heady at the end as it was after 45 minutes. Deep structure and well balanced. Fruit was rippling. Just fantastic. — 6 months ago

Fabulous. Son’s birthday dinner. Opened this and the Tor at the same time but saved this to go second thinking it needed more time on the decanter. Certainly more structured than the Tor with a lighter more restrained nose straight from the bottle but wow what power. With time that nose showed up and the bouquet leapt from the class. Classic delightful cab nose and dark fruit. Heavy, dense and oh so delicious on the palate. Finish lasted. This you knew was going to be great right from the start with a quick taste. Only got better with time and could have used even more than the 90 min decant. — 15 days ago
