This wine is inky dark and almost black. It’s a meal.
Needs food and a dense pairing. We had chili
Whomever said this needs airtime is dead on. I gassed this with oxygen and let it breathe for 2 hours and it still was just beginning to show its fruit at the tail end.
I would aerate and give a solid 3-4 hour decant next time.

Serious, sophicasted, one to impressive, parents dinner party, old school, big and spicy — 4 years ago
Requires more time and patience. Likely better in a few years. Also likely better with at least a 2.5 hour decant. Complex and multi-layered. It was very tight until hour 2. From there on it was much more floral and elegant. I am looking forward to another try in the future. — a month ago
Such rustic and funky wine! Love it. Pale color, forest floor, red fruits, and foxy. Good acidity and saline taste, medium length. Decant it at least an hour. — 2 years ago

Amazing. Powerful. Rich. Long. Luxurious. This is an impressive wine. So New World! Its immediate and in your face but it still has do many refined elements. Layered fruit, earth and heft. Blueberry. Graphite. Cassis. Long. Remarkable wine. … did I say long? — 3 months ago
