A nice cab. Slightly sweet. — 4 years ago
“I enjoy wines that aren’t trying to be anything else but wine.” Says my wife. A fitting description, it’s not complex and it’s smooth but slightly alcoholic. Sweet at first and fruit forward. Just a delicious wine! — 5 years ago
I had a fruity to oak/earthy experience. Fruit up front Oak to Earth on the finish.
$10.+ at Costco.
Went well with my steak-filled salad...as well as with my chocolate-covered walnuts afterwards. — 5 years ago
Took 4.5 hours of open bottle for the wine to go into full bloom! Red cherry, blackberry, blueberry with a firm body and mid palate Abe a very nice finish! — 5 years ago

This is nicely done. A bit on the “in your face” side, it’s got loads of rich, plummy Merlot fruit, a fair whack of French oak, and loamy earth notes. Rich, darkly fruity, a bit chocolatey in the mouth. Still a fair amount of soft, side-of-the-mouth-clingy tannin left. More youthful than its 12-year age. 15% alcohol. I prefer a slightly more reserved style, but this is impressive in its own way. — a day ago
