Only made in the “best years” with 18 months in large casks with only 15% French Oak. Dark garnet color and rich with potential for aging. A touch harsh at the moment but should be great in 5-10 years. Earthy leather but still hints of cherry. — 2 months ago
Real nice, dense, Sangiovese! Lite on funk but full on flavor. Should be in the Italian rotation if available at BP. — 2 days ago
Perfumed, plum, cherry, walnut fragrances, complex, dry, ripe tannins. Impressive. €11.99 Lidl bargain. — 24 days ago

I really liked this wine. It wasn’t as great as some other Montepulciano but I still liked it. I drank it with a French dip sandwich that I made along with Johnny’s Au Jus and I thought it paired well. I will buy it again! — 13 days ago

The 2019 Nobile di Montepulciano is a pleasure on the nose. Sweet spice complements raspberry and cherry aromas. Juicy acidity balances silky textures as rose-tinged red berries cascade across the palate. There’s a gentle coating of fine tannins and lovely energy as hard red candy hints fade. $25.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, November 2023) — 4 days ago
