Fine drinking 2019 Mandurian primitivo. Full bodied, robust fruit, low tanin, nice length. Thoroughly enjoyable! — 14 days ago
Super delicious and sophisticated red, tastes like a much more expensive one. — 3 months ago
Nose: sweet roses and cherries. Intense and beautiful. So floral
Palate: sweet cherries. A bit right but so lovely and balanced. Juicy. Still young. Has a decade to go at least.
Needs an hour. Then magnificent. The 20% vespolina just takes this over the top.
Almost a 9.6. A perfect boca.

The 2019 Carema Etichetta Bianca is laced with sweet pipe tobacco, cedar, mint, dried flowers, crushed rocks and Alpine herbs. This is an especially floral, savory vintage for the Etichetta Bianca, a wine that impresses with its energy, verve and class. The only thing missing here is a bit of freshness and depth. The northern Italian red version of a Golden Retriever-the 30% Barbera, I suspect, adds a sunny brightness to the more soulful, young Nebbiolo. Some Negrette too. Vibrant almost cadmium red color. Fresh rose petals offset by that lipstick red fruit. My house red in previous years. — 6 months ago
Light bodied, dry and semi-sweet, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Paired well with an eggplant parmesan dinner as it balanced out the sweetness of the red sauce. — 25 days ago
Salty apricot, lemon, blood orange, apricot cream. No Malo. — 2 months ago

Modest Nebbiolo nose but impressive palate. Juicy and very chewable with ripe and balanced tannines. Sligro keeps on offering an outstanding qpr on this one! — 15 days ago
