Domaine Jean-Louis Chave

L'Hermitage Syrah

Too young bug started to sing louder after an hour or so. Special bottle and can’t wait for the next one. @Tyler Lamb — 3 days ago

Pinot Noir

TH Wines never disappoints with another gorgeous expression of Okanagan Pinot. This is my last bottle of 2018 and we chose to have it with pan a roasted pork chop accompanying a warm salad of Braeburn-apple and-radicchio. The wine opened brilliantly after a two hour decant and presented mostly earthy notes along with wild strawberries, celery, and a hint of smoke. I savoured every sip. TH wines is gone now, Tyler has moved on to do something new, and he and his wines will be sadly missed. — 6 months ago

La Rinconada Vineyard Pinot Noir 2014

Red fruit, complex, balance. On second night a bit awkward and hot. Very promising but needs more time. — 3 months ago

Santa Barbara County Chardonnay 2018

Not what I expected and found it to be leaner than I thought. Almost like an aged Chablis. Nice balance. — 5 months ago

Dierberg Vineyard Block Five Pinot Noir 2018

Charged aromas of strawberry preserves and vanilla cola that quickly stand aside to reveal nuanced flavors of lavender Earl Gray tea, menthol, sage, green tobacco, baking spices, and brown sugar. Cranberry sauce on the palatte. Stellar finish. Definitely one of the more complex Central Coast Pinot Noirs I've had. — 6 months ago

Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir 2019

Camping on Figuera Mountain close to Los Olivos drinking Great Pinot. Bought and retried the wine. 13% plenty of raspberry some cherry and spice. I met Ernst Storm this weekend- definitely a name to watch - his Pinot’s are the most Burg like ones in Santa Barbara right now. Tyler is just as good but more dollars. This one is quite fruit driven but still excellent. — 3 months ago
