Deep purple, almost Inky in color, with a short reddish rim.
Strong nose of black currants, black plums, blueberries, oak, licorice, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, vegetables and black pepper.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, herbs spices, dark chocolates, coffee, earth and peppercorn.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 3 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is starting to drink nicely, although still young.
Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel. Big, rich, fruit forward and spicy.
Needed a couple of hours in the decanter to open up. Will be better in 3 years, and will age nicely in the next 7 to 10 years.
Good by itself or with food, and will pair very nicely with a nice piece of steak.
A blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7.5% Petit Verdot, 7% Merlot and 4.5% Malbec.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Had this 6 mos ago at Tasting, liked it, bought several bottles for cellar. Blend of Cab Sauv, Cab Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot & Malbec, made by 30 year Chappellet winemaker Phillip Titus. Deep Ruby, purple edges, youthful aromas of black fruit, spices and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with some vanilla and tobacco and herbal floral notes. Vivid acidity & firm tight tannins with long finish ending with a youthful character, aging well should benefit from bottle aging. — 2 years ago
From Jim Titus. Fruity, hint of spice. — 4 years ago

Wow... gotta love Titus. Took about 2 hours to fully open up. Very dark, ripe juicy blackberry and currant fruits, herbs and spicy, big lush and very lingering finish. Did this with Cigars but this is a wine that I want with a good steak. I have found a new love in Petit Verdot! — 6 years ago
Blend of Cab Sauv (Dominant), Cab Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot & Malbec, crested by 30 year Chappellet veteran winemaker Phillip Titus. Tasted this at an event, wine displaying youthful aromas of black fruit, spices and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with some vanilla and cacao adding in some herbal floral notes. Vivid acidity & firm tight tannins with lingering finish ending with a youthful character should bode well for some bottle aging. Tasting Sample. — 3 years ago
