Lett, sitrus, humle men ikke bitter. Nytt favorittøl! — 14 days ago
So incredibly smooth right out of the gate. Really dark and a wonderful red wine made out of port grapes. Heavy and rich with lots and lots of dark fruits, all of them — 24 days ago
With a pretty, pale pink color and sweetly scented nose, the 2021 Rosa Dolce & Gabbana makes a lovely first impression. Ripe melon, Asian pear, mint and nuances of white smoke create an inviting bouquet. It’s round and elegant in feel, engulfing the palate in mineral-tinged orchard fruits and hints of chamomile. A salty flourish emerges through the finale, as notes of sour citrus and inner wet stone slowly fade. This is a total pleasure to taste. The Rosa Dolce & Gabbana is a blend of Nerello Mascalese and Nocera. (Eric Guido, Vinous, May 2022) — 3 months ago
Couldn't find entry, logging Stella Sonoma Coast Pinot 2017 here: 225 and Calera clones. Elevated acidity, med tannins. Cola nuts, faint herbs, red plums, blackberry, med+/elevated concentration, overripe strawberry, black tea bag, lavender, tomato, stony characters. ~13% abv. 2017 was super hot in Sonoma, >100 degree heat spikes in June-July cause vines to shut down, rapid ripening more akin to Oregon of erratic growing season (whereas usually California boasts of constant long growing season). Gravel loam soil. 10-40% whole cluster, hand punchdowns, stem inclusion. Foot treaded. WC raises pH as high acid -> more stem inclusion to balance the pH. Failla picks on pH at ~23-24 Brix which would be a bit too high. — 4 days ago
Nice dark color, aromas tell you this is not a Saignée, but a purpose made Rose. Rose petals, white nectarine and slight white peppercorns on the nose. Strawberries, stone fruit with a long smooth mouth coating finish. Awesome sipping and great with food. This is one of the best Rose I’ve had. Winner! 85% Nebbiolo 15% Vespolina. WHW — 25 days ago

Exceptional Alta Langa. I had it with Paola and Flavio at 100Vini in Alba. Nice memories. — 20 days ago
