Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Costco Houston find. Not remembering to cost point. My bottle says “North Coast” CS so I don’t know if they have a “Napa” bottling. Doing Indian Buffett, BYOB no corkage on Monday & Tuesday. Tasted great with the food but a bit challenging be it self. — 3 days ago

Coury Clone Pinot Noir 2014

A really good California Pinto Noir. Nose of strawberries and cherries, very nice. Taste is a bit earthy but balanced with berries. Good tannins, but not overwhelming. Medium bodied. — 9 months ago

GSM Napa Valley Grenache Blend 2013

This GSM has a nice soft note of plum on the finish. Great flavor and a wine I would always enjoy to share with friends! — 5 years ago

Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2016

A great Sauvignon Blanc! Nose - really nice. Very strong of pineapple. Also like zest & lemon. Taste - not overly tart. More tropical/citrus fruit. Quite enjoyable. — 5 months ago

Napa Valley Chardonnay 2017

Interesting and not a typical California oak bomb Chardonnay. Limestone salinity with green apple and pear. Crisp and refreshing. Would be great in the summer. — a year ago

Starmont Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

The was a Last Bottle find that I jumped all over. It did not disappoint. While Cabs from Carneros, though technically in Napa, I find are not quite as technically complex as those from Oakville, Rutherford, Stags Leap or Howell, Spring or Diamond Mtn, this one demonstrated a masterful blend of the right grapes. For such a young wine, this was rich, supple tannins, with leather and Connecticut wrapper tobacco notes behind the deep fruit. I’m keeping this winery in my personal map! Wish I’d bought more than 6 bottles! — 7 months ago
