Definitely one of the most exciting producers in Chassagne right now, and whose wines seem to get better and better with each subsequent vintage, 2019 CSJ is excellent tonight, concentrated, structured and wonderfully balanced between the richness of the vintage and its minerality and verve. Last sips were the best. — 7 months ago
Nice premier cru from St Aubin with just over 10 years age. Was honestly hoping for a bit more overall but this was an excellent pairing with some blackened sea bass. Not okay at all, definite green minerality characteristic that is hard for me to describe. Medium minus acid and the finish isn’t quite all encompassing. But still a nice wine. — 2 years ago
Very nice. Low acidity, vanilla notes. — 4 years ago
1990 vintage. Decanted. Yes, this is a red. Well-balanced and plenty of harmony. Picked up a slightly meaty, gamey flavor after 20 mins in the decanter. Light-medium body but enough vibrancy to hold steady at this clip for another 7-10 years without noticeable drop off. 8.27.23. — 3 months ago
Delicious reduction- flinty with notes of brioche, acidity is holding up well. Very enjoyable wine. — 9 months ago
Un très beau St-Aubin avec cette signature des vins de PYCM, très minérale entre autres, tout en ayant une richesse et rondeur typique du millésime mais sans lourdeur, des saveurs franches et intenses avec une très belle longueur, vraiment très bien. 91-92
Superb St-Aubin with this PYCM signature, mineral driven with a certain richness and roundness typical of that vintage, but without being too heavy, nice length, gorgeous and showing no rush to drink up this 2015. — 2 years ago
first time w this relatively new kid. Son of P-Y? Came out of the gate pretty pricey, as did Alvina Pernot. Guess you don’t need to earn your stripes now. But it’s a darned good wine. Minerals from front to back. Acid. A touch of lemon for fruits. Reminded son in law of Muscadet. But denser and no saline. Good stuff. — 5 months ago
Must be last bottle, was surprised and impressed years ago, not easy to find. This is one terrific bottle, flowery berries and minerals, supple, pure, light and elegant in dance on palate. Silky finish. Pleasure. quintessential Burg. Certainly better than previous note. — 9 months ago
