Aged white blend of native hars + chard. This is a brawler of a wine. Carries some bite with its brawling body but it’s complex and tasty. Not cloying like a Napa chard but has a hint of those characteristics coupled with a funky earthiness. New world meets old, as they say, plus some age and funk. — 6 years ago

Hungarian Dry White chosen by daughter Georgie. An eclectic blend of Furmint, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and 2 unspellable Hungarian varieties. Pale lemon in colour. A palate like so many of the European Whites I have had on this trip to the UK. Medium bodied with M plus intensity. Notes of Peach and Pear on the palate with low acid.
