Just tried a third bottle over past 6 months. A light style Pinot, something I would find from OR, not Santa Barbara, however this bottle was a bit more pronounced in aromas and flavors. Medium Ruby with aromas of red fruits and spice. On the palate ripe raspberry and wild juicy cherry with cola, oak and earthy notes. Developing with integrated soft tannins, well defined, elegant with underlying richness, long finish ending with flinty mineral character. Outstanding value! — 2 days ago
Finally got our couch! And our coffee table lesgoooo!
Sage leaf, orange zest, honey in the bouquet. And a little funk.
Wow. Zing! Karpow! Boom! I call this a comic book wine because it literally jumps off the page and into your taste buds.
Not bad at all. Thanks NYT. — 4 days ago
Diatom’s 2009 Chardonnay Bar-M, from vineyards in Los Alamos, is a gorgeous wine and a fabulous value. Tangerine oil, white flowers and light tropical accents give this curvy, airy Santa Barbara Chardonnay so much appeal. Breezy saline notes linger on the wonderfully inviting finish. $25.00 (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2020) — 13 days ago
