This wine I had the other night is the 2019 Pierre Sparr Grande Réserve Riesling. From Alsace - Beblenheim, France.
On the nose there is citrus, lemon, bicycle tire, pear, green apple, vanilla and minerality.
On the palate there is lemon, lime, peach, green apple, golden delicious apple and good minerality.
This wine is light to medium body smooth and creamy mouthfeel with medium + to high mouthwatering acidity that leads right to a long citrus apple mineral finish. Please have a healthy and safe holiday weekend. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 5 days ago
Light straw yellow.
Very expressive and generous. Not as sweet as anticipated, which is a good thing. Lots of ginger and beautiful lemony fruity notes (-zest, -curd, -oil). Touches of apricot, pineapple, lychee and pickles. Tropical flowers, as well.
Gorgeous wine! — 10 days ago
Vintage 2018 | Jean Paul Schmitt is a winegrower that makes wines of character in Scherwiller. Biodynamic. All of one plot, the Rittersberg with granite terroir. This cuvée ZEN appeals to me. It is a ‘gemischter satz’ (blend) of five winegrapes. Friendly, flint, good body, citrus and good acidity. Fine effort. — 11 days ago

Fruity, bubblegam smell. Very easy on palate, pure white grape taste. No tannin. Short (2s) aftertaste with a "wet" mouth feel and dry finish. — 13 days ago
