Ruby in color and cloudy, with a wide reddish/ brick rim.

Sweet nose with cedar, vanilla, honey and chocolates.

Sweet on the palate with black fruits, tobacco, cereal, vanilla, licorice, light wood, chocolates, coffee, light cola and peppercorn.

Long finish with soft tannins and tangy cherries.

This 29 year old is still drinking beautifully. Nicely balanced and elegant. Rich and fruit forward.

I don't see it getting any better from this point on. Peaking now and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

Delicious right out of the bottle, and a gorgeous dessert wine.

Blend of 50% Touriga Nacional, 35% Touriga Franca, 10% Tinta Roriz, 4% Tinta Barroca & 1% Alicante Bouschet, aged in used French oak for 14 months, aromas of fresh dark berry flavors with herb, spice and cedar notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry and plum with licorice, cedar, espresso and spicy herbs. Fine ripe tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, cedar, spice and herb character. Deep purple in color; blueberries, plums, and dried flowers on the nose; medium plus acidity; high tannins, so tannic it's chewy; tastes like raspberries, violets, crushed gravel, and wet slate with a long finish. Well balanced flavors. I love it. — 5 months ago
