Popped this open to celebrate the end of a long hard week at work. Needed some more time to air out than I had originally expected, but it was worth the wait. Black cherry notes! — 15 days ago
Dark ruby hue. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, cassis, cherry, earthy, leather, raspberry, and tar. Medium-bodied, with medium tannins and medium-plus acidity. Rounded and smooth on the palate with a long, lasting finish. Complex yet approachable. 60% Sangiovese and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. — 18 days ago
Took an hour to really wake up but then became delicious! — 17 days ago
A value-packed super-Tuscan made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Merlot and Petite Verdot. Elegant medium tannins and loads of blackberry, black cherry and red cherry, plum, cassis, violet and Mediterranean scrub brush. Full bodied but very agile on the palate - delicious and ready now though it will also last another 5 years. — 8 hours ago
Excellent w res meat. Not too tannic either — 9 days ago

Quite nice. A good value when I bought it and even better now as it’s going for $19. From the owners of Poggio di Sotto which we had the good fortune to taste at recently. Quite complete. Tannins at this point are still pretty forbidding, but at this price a good one to stock away for the future. — a month ago
