Just an unreal showing. Nothing like it. 1885 vines. So complex. So deep. So long. So classic. — 4 days ago

Domaine Le Roc

La Folle Noire d'Ambat Fronton Negrette 2019

First day of summer holidays, it's pouring, it's cold, it's humid... But there's good wine so we are good.
Nose of violet, red and black currants, a bit of hay too. It's very welcoming as always. The palate is well balanced with red and black forest fruits, a nice width, a velvety mouthfeel until a mid palate with a tiny bit of drying tannins that power up a long fruity and delicious finish. Very biased here, but I love it

Rocher des Buis Maury Sec Grenache Noir-Syrah Blend 2015

Dark fruit with slightly Smokey aromas. Blackberry, leather, tar, and grilled meats on the palate. Tastes like a softer cdp. Very good! — 9 days ago

Lo Sang del Païs Marcillac Fer Servadou 2020

The blood of the land. Or rose made by bleeding tanks destined for red wine production?
Intense pink w a distinct blueish cast. All cucurbit w melon and cucumber, rose hips and plenty of red fruit aromas. The texture here is the outstanding partner it is penetrating, cutting rich foods, but also has a generous, viscous, silky feeling.

Château Haut-Monplaisir

Tradition Cahors Malbec 2018

Wow superb Cahors. More of that! Blackberry and a milky touch on the nose. Very easy going palate with a great balance. Some tannins to kick things up in the rear, a chocolate, coffee touch in the end. Great value! — a month ago

Having this a second timr...years late it's the same bombshell! Luscious oaky red fruits and cassis with a hint of dark chocolate. Tannins are heavy so let it decant for an hour min. Lots of oak. Solid value from Galliac in SW France. — 10 hours ago

Château Ferran
