Time for some Pinot and dinner. — 3 years ago
This does NOT taste like a Chardonnay.
I thought it was an old world wine.
Legit tastes like Niagara Falls though. — 3 years ago
Light ruby in color. It’s from Canada. And it smells of dry grasses and wild flowers. Or maybe those are just the smells stuck in my nose. It’s family time here at the lake house in Canada, with all the tension and buried hurts family time can entail. Enter this Pinot noir. The scent of violet, the taste of rose petals, tart cherries, and red currants. It’s new and familiar at the same time. Brings me right back to myself. Families are families, for better or for worse. Then wine, old grapes made in a new way, complex and fleeting, helps give you the long view and takes you right back home. — 4 years ago
Brendan found this for me at Norm Hardy Vineyard. He, Dylan and I drank it before our Sushi Masaki Saito dinner March 31/23. It’s $89/bottle — 6 months ago
In Norman for the OU West Virginia game with granddaughter Haley. Excellent. — 4 years ago
Michelle bought this in Norman, Oklahoma. Very good and smooth. — 2 years ago
This shot is for @Norman Gennaro.
So here’s the deal... wifey and I have a small place, which means that we can’t build a room with a cellar - we just don’t have the real estate. So, working with @Mo Salem, our cellar needed to be an integral part of our living space. We’re doing something similar below our stairs. Keep you posted on that.
Let’s turn to this stunning SB. Aromas of grapefruit and slate on the nose. Palate is flinty and honied. Perfect acidity and weight on the mid-palate. It’s exuberant all the way to the finish. $22!!! 😀 — 3 years ago
