Nose has wet lemon slice, cold lavender, lemon grass freshly chopped, white/yellow flowers, honeydew melon and dry beach sand.
Palate has green melon / white flower mash-up, fresh lemon zest, lavender leaves, slight spice (Gewürztraminer-like) notes, medium finish...very refreshing! Great Effort, 💕❤️Ravines!
Unsure of the exact blend percentages but Morten notes it is a dry blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris & 6% Muscat Ottonel. It's hard to describe this wine except as the best rosé I've ever had. The bouquet has beautiful red fruit, with the taste of red fruit and citrus, with medium acidity that is not too high and extremely well balanced. It's the kind of wine I can't stop drinking but I want to share with all of my friends. If you care at all about drinking a rosé that punches well above it's weight in terms of value, you should buy this wine immediately — 19 days ago
Elegant, quaffable and mineral driven. Plus the aromatics and flavor I’m a sucker for/ Muscat — 11 days ago
Surprisingly cloying BdV…indistinguishable from a Sauternes…I blame the age — 24 days ago
Here's a very cool, floral / spicy, citrusy, exotic and stony Alsatian white. Very citrus and white flower on the nose, the kind of wine you can't keep your nose out of the glass. The palate is surprisingly rich, almost broad, but with good mineral acidity to keep things in focus. A dryer style, and great with food. A winner at under 11 €. Re buy. — 2 months ago
A bit too acidic but perfectly complex and powerful — 23 days ago
