2013 Zinfandel Old Vine Mounts Vineyard Dry Creek Valley Sonoma County. Delicious, jammy, spicy, and little smoke. Good with BBQ!! — 9 years ago
Color of bubbly purple, a bit dark. Nose of cocoa, dark cherry, plum, prune, leathery, and some spice, quite conventional full body red. Taste is mounts full with spice, refined tannins, and vanilla sweetness. Definitely a crowd pleaser. 2nd sip shows some zesty note, ripe fruits, tobacco leaves, and more nice tannins. Aftertaste is medium with a bit more warmth from alcohol, ripe grapes and zesty note. Pretty easy to drink and good. — 6 years ago
Bella’s 2018 Mounts Vineyard Grenache Rose. Beautiful rose color. On the nose, citrus, florals and apple. On the palate, lots of depth, initial notes of citrus and apple and tangy plum that gives way to a honeyed, velvety smooth finish that lingers forever. Medium bodied very balanced and smooth wine. — 7 years ago
Great blend of Merlot and Syrah that would make this a great choice for your everyday red. — 7 years ago
Higher acidity, chocolate aroma and taste, went really well with smoked brisket! — 3 years ago
The NV Extra Brut Rosé Metodo Classico N.S. della Neve is captivating with a beguiling bouquet that leads with sweet tobacco, then transforms to show ripe peaches, chamomile and hints of raw almond. It’s silky-smooth with a fine bead of bubbles, as tension quickly mounts through a wave of saline-tinged acids and minerals that cut through with laser-like intensity. A salty flourish defines the finale, while the palate is left watering for more. This is intense on its own, but it would be dreamy with any number of rich, fatty or fried foods. The N.S. Della Neve is a Metodo classico-produced blend of 60% Nebbiolo and 40% Pinot Noir that finishes at just one gram per liter of residual sugar. Disgorgement date: February 28, 2022.
