After some homemade pizza on the grill, this sits soooo pretty.

When you smell a wine like this, with its classic, elegant, Cab fruit nose, you know you are good to go.
Couple of hours of airtime, this wine is a beautiful blend, of deep red fruit, a berry blend of perfect harmony. This wine evolves every hour, the tannins slowly integrating more deeply with the acidity, leaving you with that - wow, what a great wine - feeling.
Shoulda bought a case. Good for at least another 5.

Lovely blend from Charlie Hopper. Has a nice spiciness to it just like I’m sure his dear grandma was (who the wine was named after). A very nice tribute wine. Good the second day too. Fine on its own, better with food.

Color of bubbly purple, a bit dark. Nose of cocoa, dark cherry, plum, prune, leathery, and some spice, quite conventional full body red. Taste is mounts full with spice, refined tannins, and vanilla sweetness. Definitely a crowd pleaser. 2nd sip shows some zesty note, ripe fruits, tobacco leaves, and more nice tannins. Aftertaste is medium with a bit more warmth from alcohol, ripe grapes and zesty note. Pretty easy to drink and good.
