Pop and pour WOW. Old world dried flowers on the nose. Elegant on the palate with balance of acidity and soft tannins - that linger on the front and middle of the tongue. More layers of flavors than I can describe with roses, mixed berries, clove, leather, tobacco, etc., and none were dominant. What a pleasant surprise. — 6 days ago
This is a blend of mostly Barolo with a tad of Barbaresco Nebbiolo. It is bright as can be, full of red cherry, a whiff of earth and something even a tad sanguine. It is tasty and ready to drink now but could use more integration — a month ago
Should have decanted and filtered on the pour. It was a different wine in the last half due to the sediment. Still very enjoyable and a solid wine from a great vintage. Smooth and balanced good harmony of fruit with earthiness. — 4 days ago
Pair of 21’s tonight where the Tignanello is youthful & not as open as the Ornellaia. Will be a great vintage that needs a few more years — 14 days ago
Bold yet surprisingly restrained. It offers dark cherry and plum with just a whisper of tobacco, all wrapped in a subtle, earthy elegance. Some may dismiss this particular vintage, I happen to enjoy it more than most. — 9 days ago
Red fruit and earthy aromas. Garnet color. Medium to full body. Cherry, Berry, flavors. Mineral and spice. Nice acidity, tannic, but not over done. Long earthy finish. Very nice. Sangiovese, Cabernet, Merlot, syrah blend. $23 — a day ago
