Gorgeous and best JJ ever. Nose is full of mid season cherries, spice, gentle wood shavings from woodshop when one was a kid. Really aromatic and alluring. Really huge spice. So so aromatic and casts a spell on you. Palate is so juicy and full of life. Sweet and sour cherry fruit and big time acids and wonderful structure and purity. This needs mega mega air. The sweetness on the finish and mid is to just die for and then gets tamed by the incredible acidity and mineral spine. — 10 days ago

Dark ruby color. Aromas of dark berries and plums, with additional hints of purple flowers and cocoa. Bold flavors of blackberry, boysenberry, black plum, dark chocolate, strong coffee and sweet spices. Long finish and full bodied. Light on the acidity and very silky tannins. Rich and concentrated. Wow! Awesome bottle/wine! Lovely gold color. Butter, minerals, Meyer lemons, camomile, and melons on the nose. Same on the palate with a refined texture and massive depth. Super complex wine that could go toe to toe with high-end White Burgs!! Prime drinking age, sad it’s my last of this vintage.
