Not sure why the name, but this Sun King is stylish with great substance.
Nose is filled with ripe black plum, blueberry, cedar, cocoa, baking spices, leather and subtle forest floor. The palate is rich and gentle, layered with flavors that echo the nose. Delicious silky tannins.

A quick tartness of strawberries. Very dry. A quick finish. — 4 months ago
Port like but lighter. — 5 months ago
Taking its name from the sea and sun – the two forces of nature that shape its character. Pale lemon, aromas of Stone and tropical fruits, with floral and sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach & apricot with lemon zest and toasty vanilla notes. Smooth long finish, well balanced, nice acidity, ending with fruit, vanilla oak and mineral character. Sip’s well now. Pair this with some pan seared white fish. — 2 months ago

Pale lemon, aromas of Stone and tropical fruits, with floral and sweet spice notes, from a cooler climate, more hang time on the vine.
