Jackass Vineyard Zinfandel 2009

Outstanding. Still solidly in its drinking window; classic big, complex Martinelli Zinfandel. Absolute favorite!

"Giuseppe & Luisa" Russian River Valley Zinfandel 2021

Delectable Wine
9.2

The 2021 Zinfandel Giuseppe & Luisa is a vibrant, super-expressive wine. Sweet red cherry, mint, chalk, white flowers and white pepper bring out the higher-toned side of Zinfandel. Medium in body and racy, the Giuseppe & Luisa is a real charmer. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, July 2023)

Bondi Home Ranch Pinot Noir 2001

True pinot nose, smooth taste. Very fruity, bits of bayleaf and licquorish. Soft tanine low acidity. Best of the three pinots we tasted — 2 months ago

Vellutini Ranch Vineyard Zinfandel 2020

Way too much alcohol for my tastes, but they somehow make a very drinkable wine. — 7 months ago

Vellutini Ranch Vineyard Syrah 2015

“If I liked my wines a bit more aged?” I was asked. This is the proof that good wines need time to integrate. Bold flavours, but smooth and even a bit restrained. Would like to ship a case home, but hardly possible. — 2 months ago

Zio Tony Ranch Chardonnay 2020

Delectable Wine
9.2

The 2020 Chardonnay Zio Tony Ranch is a very pretty, exotic wine. Tangerine oil, passionfruit, dried flowers, mint, almond and chamomile give the Zio Tony a tropical profile that is so attractive. In this vintage, the Zio Tony is a bit lighter in body than it can be, but that is not a bad thing. All the elements are very well balanced throughout. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, July 2023)
