Had this at Bern’s Steak House in dessert room. Pale lemon color with aromas of ripe stone and tropical fruits and floral notes wrapped in a frizzante. On the palate flavors of peach, apricot and mango with notes of white floral. Good balance with lively yet refrained acidity, medium+ finish ending with sweet ripe fruit character. — 22 days ago

Four Seasons Collection Late Harvest Red Moscato 1997, Moldova
This is a very tasty sweet wine from Moldova. Actually, my first one from this region.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Sweet on the palate with nice acidity that balances it out.
Showing red and black fruits with sweet cherries, over ripen citrus fruits, Indian spices, caramel, mocha, nuts, dried figs, cooked raisins and walnuts.
This 25 year old, still has good acidity, which is nice to see.
Good right out of the bottle, and so much better after 3 hours of airtime.
It does not feel fortified, but I wonder how they got to that high alcohol...
A good dessert wine with great complexity.
I found it in a Russian grocery store for $4. Couldn't help myself.
I paired it with an Italian Fruit Tart cake.
15% alcohol by volume.

Both bottles had a bit of seepage around the cork. Opened with a ‘pop’. Fruity aroma and effervescent and almost a sparkling wine with small bubbles. Quite sweet yet crisp on the palate. I assume it was still fermenting in the bottle but it was delicious nonetheless. Glad I checked the bottles early and noticed the seepage or these likely would have gone bad. — 2 months ago
Highly aromatic & enticing. Orange marlmelade, tart lemon peel, a waxy note, some apricot pastry, a spicy, exotic whiff. Complex. White tea freshness.
On the palate this shows impeccable balance. Vibrant acidity, juicy flow, an electric tension. Honeyed apricots & blood oranges, some kumquat, white tea like light tannins.
Sweet yes, but so drinkable.
A delicious dessert! — a month ago
