First had frascati wine in Frascati Italy in 2002. A good memory! — 10 days ago

100% #malvasia Putinata - white flower, citrus and light stone fruit on the nose. Medium weight on the palate with a pleasing oiliness and prototypical Italian white almond flavors. Not only is it delicious - it’s flexible in pairing and nicely accompanied grilled Texas Gulf seatrout. #wsjwineclub

Sweet, delicate, clear. You feel absolutely no alcohol inside. Delicious — a month ago
A blend of white flowers, melon, butter caramel aromas; a great balance of acidity and fruit. — 2 months ago
2010 Forte from The Vineyard at Florence in Texas. Made from 100% Lenoir (which is actually a native Texas grape that formed a natural hybrid with a Spanish grape), it’s full-bodied, rich & fruity. Very much like a pure Syrah with a touch of pepper & spice. Soft tannins & a smooth finish make it one of the best Texas wines I’ve ever had! Cheers🍷 — 2 months ago
Chilean sea bass.
Diced garlic and capers fried in olive oil with okra.
Pull the okra and add Roma tomatoes. Then add 1/2 cup of Riesling wine. Let alcohol evaporate and then turn off fire and add fresh basil minced. Place okra back in and serve on top of the fish that was grilled(outside ) to perfection. I had this with mash potatoes for a side and a fabulous bottle of Chablis Primier Cru 2018 and the day is over. — 12 days ago
