Médium lemon yellow . Quite concentrated nose with lemon rind , white flowers , orange zest , toasty , roasted almond hints . On the palate this is quite concentrated and structured , orange rind , brioche , roasted almonds , with a oyster shell , chalky finish . Good length , high slightly astringent acidity . This is young and needs a little time to integrate better . — 2 months ago

[En magnum, 80% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc] Medium-dark purple color, dark plum and spicy aromas and flavors, youthful but not overly tannic, great balance, lowish (12.5%) ABV (my strong preference in Bordeaux), fresh and lively, medium-long finish, should easily age 5-10 more years (particularly in this magnum format, very good! — a month ago

They are the King’s of Champagne for a reason.
Beautiful mousse. Both yellow & white stone fruits, tropicals, lime & lemon zest/pulp, green & red apple, cream to whipped cream, ginger skin, grey volcanics-limestone minerals, white spice, taunt chalk, baguette crust, sea fossils/foam, white spring flowers, yellow lilies, excellent acidity, balance, structure, tension & elegance for days with a finish that ends balanced on fruit & minerality.
