@Scott Rowe Haven’t tried the 2018 yet but obviously a great vintage of a stellar Cuvée. The 2007 is still drinking well. Would be a good match with your Lenswood I would imagine.

Arizona Stronghold Vineyard

Tazi White Blend 2019

79/13/6/2 blend of Malvasia Bianca, Muscat, Viognier and Riesling. Pale white in color, sparkling clarity. Floral notes in nose, almost dry, peach, nectarine, spice and lemon flavors in finish. Fairly crisp, match with food or just sip. Slight mineral and astringency in aftertaste. Respectably tasty — 5 days ago

Dry Stack Vineyard White Blend 2016

Barrel aged California Sauv Blanc. In its youth this shows a pineapple/tropical note. I was hoping for it and pleased to find it’s still there at ~5 years age. — 9 days ago

Greywacke

Kevin Judd Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Very reminiscent of a limestone chablis. Nose is loaded with lemongrass and peach pit. Balanced acidity with melon flesh on the pallet. Wonderful for a warm summer afternoon with creamed corn and grilled veggies. — 15 days ago

Vignobles Rousset Peyraguey Atropos White Blend 2008

A toasty nose with honey and apricot. There is a bit of beeswax too. The mouthfeel is very interesting because it's thick and extremely sweet on one hand but it's balanced by a massive acid backbone that brings loads of freshness. It stays there for a very long while and the apricot and honey note and somehow sticks to the palate for a good minute. We paired it with a homemade chocolate cake (made by my daughter). Delicious sauternes ! — 8 days ago

Natural ugni blanc. Smells like kombucha. Lively, fleshy, prickly, forward with mirabelle, melon, herbs on the palate and à honeyed finish. Goes down easy. Quite food friendly. This scores high on the fun rating. A bit pricey but no complaints. — 5 days ago

Natural wine from Spain. Big tropical fruit, some mild funk, dunno if this sees oak but getting vanilla, softness. Really good. Bliss Wine Imports SF. — 9 days ago

Blanc Cachè Napa Valley White Blend 2017

This is a very tasty and unique white blend from Napa Valley.

A good quality wine that shows nice structure and balance. Tangy and easy drinking with nice complexity and mouthfeel.

Showing citrus, lemons, green apples, light oak, limes, spices, minerals, honeysuckle and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity. Dry on the palate and refreshing.

Good right out of the bottle and good by itself or with food. Spicy with a tangy finish and nicely balanced.

Needs 45 minutes to open up, and it is worth being patient.

I had it last year and this time it is even better.

A blend of Viognier and Chardonnay. A small production of only 70 cases.

14.4% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$70.

DaTerra Viticultores Portela do Vento Blanco

This is a pretty cool take on non-sherry Palomino. It’s a little salty like fino but doesn’t have the flor notes obviously. — 5 days ago
