So tasty, a good finish to the week. Cherry on the nose with white pepper and hints of fresh mint coming through. Mouthfeel is silky smooth with medium+ body. On the palate, beautiful cherry and anise. Tannins seem to be providing a longer finish than most langhe nebbiolos, with mineral and cherry flavors coming through. Acidity is medium. Blend of about mostly Sangiovese with 3% Syrah & 15% Canaiolo Nero, aged in large oak casts. Deep Ruby red color with aromas of black and red fruit adding tobacco and herb pepper spice nuances. On the palate flavors of blackberries and cherries, savory with licorice notes. Fine tannins, full body, nice balance, long finish ending with herb and fruit mineral character. — 15 days ago

Tasty cherry, orange zest, and anise flavors coalesce and soften nicely after some time in the glass, with an undercurrent of white pepper developing as well. Has soft, smooth tannins and decent acidity. Overall great quality. — a month ago

Loved it! Unlike that last Chianti I tried which took an hour to open up (starting WAY too fruity and milding off), this was delicious right away. Started very earthy and drinkable immediately, the earthiness became less pronounced and became slightly more fruity as it opened. Excellent wine! — 7 days ago

Really tasty. Full bodied with medium acidity and medium/high tannins. Plums with hints of blueberry are joined by interesting herbal notes of thyme and sage. Also has a nice earthiness that veers into a touch of just-ground coffee beans accompanying the fruit and herbal flavors on the finish. Really good, and went well with meatball, ricotta, and mushroom pizza. — 8 days ago

Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, dark berry, cassis, forest floor, minerals and earth, cherry, cocoa powder, plum and vanilla. On the palate, dark berry , blueberry, cherry, smokey vanilla, and secondary and tertiary notes of oak, espresso, and chocolate. Complex and excellent full bodied wine with velvet mouthfeel. — 16 days ago
