Fairly sweet but in the category of dry wine. Full bodied and luscious. Just need to pair it correctly. — 11 days ago

Had this a year+ ago, tried a new batch, noticed label color changed. A big fan of Tawny Ports, especially the 20 year blends are a Fav. Fonseca Port was founded in 1822 and successive generations of the Guimaraens family have upheld the Company’s reputation. Medium amber color with aromas of honey and pronounced nutty notes. On the palate ripe dried fruits with sweet cinnamon spice and oak emerge from the glass. Soft tannins long smooth finish ending with a sweet nutty character. Very nice. — 2 months ago

🍷Firm and full-bodied wine. Jammy sweet red strawberries. Rich on the palate with good presence of fruit. LJ style is showing with noticeable oak. Red grapefruit on the back of the palate and a long finish. This wine is shining at the moment. Deep and concentrated with perfect balance between the big robust and the elegant styles. Altogether justifies its 1er cru status.
5-star vintage of 2005 requires lots of patience for many top Burgundy, but this one has already opened its drinking window.
📍Les Boudots covers 6.3 ha and sits on the East facing mid-slope in the Northern part of NSG and borders famous Vosne 1er Cru of Malconsorts. The soil is brown limestone and marl.
This wine is fermented in vats for 3-4 weeks and then aged 15 months in oak prior to bottling.

Bought it from Hedonism London and flew it all the way back to HK. Purity it is. — 18 days ago
Enjoy a Champagne that has a tradition of five generations, fresh, delicate, fruity and refreshing. Pale gold with hints of red berries and bit of honey. Pleasing acidity with a delicious finish.

Vocoret family has been growing vines for over 4 generations. The Kimmeridgian (limestone-rich) soils run through Chablis, gives the wines their mineral character. Aromas of stone & citrus fruits & flinty notes. Palate shows stone fruits with lemon citrus, lively acidity. Long finish ending with a steely chalky mineral expression. Very nice. Good value! — 4 months ago
