Soft nose, like a bakery shop. Cherry pie, fresh baked bread, tart raspberry, tarragon, a little anise, black olive, wet earth; explosive palate, everything on the nose with good acid and soft tannins. Really beautiful. Always one of my favorites. — 6 months ago
El Prado BTG 10.13.21 / bought at Psychic Wines Oct. 2021 / grape: Garganega (grown in Soave, Gambellara & Sicily, Italy) / peach, honeydew, tangerine, marjoram, saline — 9 months ago
Bright and minerally. Really enjoyed this with swordfish. Never heard of this varietal — a month ago
The 2019 Brentino (Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon) bursts from the glass with raspberry preserves offset by cloves and hints of leather. It’s enveloping on the palate, with masses of ripe berries, juicy acids and minerals, tapering off rosy and with a tug of sweet tannins. $22.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, February 2022) — 4 months ago

Rich and approachable without too much fruit or acidity — a month ago
Nice, crisp, refreshing — 2 months ago
100% carmenere. Unexpectedly nice. Liked the balance of tanines - feels light and smooth. Fruity, but not too much. Blueberries as a first note. Pleasing experience. — 6 months ago
Leather, robusta coffee and dark berry notes. Black pepper, chocolate, and boiled eggs(??!!) on the palate. I had a glass of this wine last night and I was fortunate to find the bottle today. I never thought of cab franc from Italy 🇮🇹. Good surprise. — 3 years ago

Fresh, juicy strawberry/cherry fruit. Crisp, but round in the mouth. Very friendly! Label says it’s a red wine but this is definitely a chiarretto style, and on the lighter side of that! — a month ago
