A serious wine that probably needed a few more years. Heavily tannic, opened up after about an hour. Cherries, earth, a pleasant underlying sourness. Distinct on the palate, with a lingering finish. Thanksgiving bottle #2. — 2 days ago
Nose is aromatic and ripe with a hint of stewed tomato to start off. Mid season cherry and really bright. Wish that overripe tomato was not there. It slowly blows off but on PNP it is prominent. Cherry flower. Tar. Spice. Nice nose. Not great. Palate is ripe and juicy but slightly broad with good balance, purity and freshness. Big tannins that I associate with Bussia. Good power and depth. No finesse. Solid not special. Maybe air helps?
UPDATE/ Air did help.this. 9.0 to 9.3. More silkiness and clearly defined fruit. — 2 months ago

Bought this in Logrono in 2017, and let age for three years. Smooth and sweet, notes of apple and pear. Light, but still very flavorful. — 7 days ago
Lots of Barbera acid, stewed sour cherry, dried violets, brambly, cedar, black pepper and touch of baking spice. Some Nebbiolo-like tar? From Amaro Spirits and Wine. 10/30/20 — a month ago
Obsessed with this white; 100% Pinot Gris. Excellent dry minerality, and best of all it was produced in Italy. — 3 months ago
