Viñedo Chadwick Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2008

Its not that often that wine and food really elevate each other but this Chadwick 2008 and Beef with home made Stroganoff was a match made in heaven.
The pepper and sweets in the wine pushed the sauce next level and vice versa.

Max Reserva Valle de Aconcagua Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

One of the best under $25 Cabernet’s I’ve had.
This won’t be for everyone but the style is juicy and balanced with red berries, red bell pepper, licorice, and spice. The tannin is slick and completes the structure nicely.

Don Maximiano Founder's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2017

A blend of 67% Cab Sauv, 12% Malbec, 8% Carmenere, 7% Petit Verdot & 6% Cab Franc. Dark Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruit with floral and sweet baking spice notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry notes with notes is cacao, cedar and vanilla. Fine tannins, well structured, long finish ending with fruit and leathery spice notes. Very nice! — 5 months ago

Max Reserva Carmenere 2018

Surprisingly more concentrated than the Cabernet. Black cherry, raspberry, sweet pipe tobacco, and baking spice. Not as much green/vegetal character as the Cabernet, which surprised me. An impressive wine at $22. — 6 months ago
