Generally consistent with my last notes, but drinking this side by side with the Cote du Py does bring to attention the differences in structure. At this stage, the Les Charmes has a slight edge over the Cote du Py for me due to it’s lacier texture and distinct mineral streak. The Cote du Py looks brutish even against this wine. A fascinating study of Beaujolais terrior. — 7 days ago

Interesting wine, very floral, quite aromatic for the appellation. Wispy, leesy, creamy on the palate, with white fruit, white flowers, a hint of tropical fruit and vanilla. Open for business and easy drinking. Starts to get a bit cloying by the end of the second glass, but a very interesting style and a good value at 10 €. — a month ago
Absolument délicieux, nez typique que Cote-Rôtie, plusieurs niveau de saveur, passant du poivre blanc, les herbes, le fumé. Éclatant — 2 months ago
Dry but opened up with the red sauce - good. — 3 days ago
Deep reddish tawny color, mostly translucent. Floral nose. Notes of red fruit, rose petals, dark soil, smoked meat and blood sausage, and a little anise. Rich and powerful in the mouth. Still has some tannin. Gets bigger with air over the evening. This came across as a somewhat different bottle of juice than the 70 Monprivato next to it - with the 70 being more aged-Barolo like, and the 78 being more of a hearty Cote-Rotie or something. Nevertheless everyone loved this and having the two side-by-side. — 14 days ago

Not sure of the varietal(s) in this Spanish Rose’. (Txakoli?) Very little information about this wine on the label of the bottle. Light pink color. Strawberry bubble gum on the nose and pallet. Extremely Fruit forward. Touch of mineral. Hints of RS and CO2. Quite refreshing. — 14 days ago
