Best Portuguese white wine (drunk over the past 5 years: 2017-2022). 2019 is fabulous white wine year in Portugal. — 13 days ago
Delicate, precise and mineral on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied - quite viscous - and mostly citrus and stone fruit, faint grassy notes. A bit shy, though. Seems to hold back. Maybe closed at the time..?
More weight and more generosity on the day after. So, up a notch. — 20 days ago
Earthy, terroir nose. Opened nicely. Palette- enjoyable , long finish, medium tannins . After one hour, improved, earthiness is a nice change from Napa cabs. — 11 days ago
Opened after 1 hour slow ox. Melange of dark fruit, fig, leather, tobacco, graphite, spice on the palate. Balanced tannins throughout. Subtle yet complex. — 15 days ago
blåbär, jordgubbar och hallon. Mycket välbalanserat, mjukt vin med eleganta tanniner. — 13 days ago

National Sales Grapes of Spain
A blend of 30% Mourvedre, 30% Consult and 40% Syrah. Batroun District.
Pale, rosey pink. This offers a deep nose of crushed wet granite and a suggestion of red fruits. On the palate this offers an energetic, mineral tinged, savory character that echos a few Catalan reds with extended skin/lees contact I've tasted. It seems more about place and soil than fruit and is quite interesting.
My wife described it as 'spicy.' Probably not the best bottle to have been pulled for girl's night!
With more air on day three this shows a dried/crushed rose petal and cardamom note. — 13 days ago
