Seashell nose. Dry white vermouth character, framed by brittle calcareous rock, green fruit and a peppery, acid finish. — 23 days ago
This is spectacular. A powerful nose if rock pools, soft lime notes, salinity, a faint spiciness- sandalwood? Complex and balanced and long. Years ahead but great now. — 2 months ago
Snazzy new label and what a triumph this is in 21! Seashells, lanolin, lime zest echoes, so kinmeridigian and classic. Gorgeous breadth and elegance the nose. An airiness. Very high class and pretty. Palate is so crisp, so tense and so seashelly. Utterly classic and with scintillating acidity and excellent length. A great effort. Inner mouth aromas develop with air as does greater focus. So impressive. — 8 days ago
Excellent, a racheter !! — 22 days ago
Matches, crushed stones, pear, white peach, oyster shell, whit pepper, hint of cinnamon yoghurt. Beautiful wine as usual. — 11 days ago
Even more giving than the last time I had 17 nearly one year ago, it’s rocking right off the bat tonight showing tremendous power and intensity in its layers of clean orchard fruit, crushed oyster shells, savory algae and citrus blossoms. It’s so concentrated, detailed and laser focused and it continued to evolve texturally, gaining so much weight and expanding on the palate before a finish that just keeps going. Simply electric, and one of the absolute greats of the vintage. — a month ago
Wow. So mineral and pretty. So many seashells and a huge dash of iodine. Smells like there is a ton of material there. Palate is ripe but less ripe than a 17 Lechet with insane salinity and great freshness. Long. Really good acidity and has more acid than a 17 Lechet from Monday and less gras. This is so Chablis. Really compact and just so well made. Showing brilliantly. — 2 months ago
